Stress Relief

Now these past few months for me have been rather stressful but i know I'm not alone, everyone gets stressed whether its from taking exams to waking up late and having to get ready in time. Lets be honest we have all been there!  Now when life gets that little bit tough for you and your looking a bit like this:

Then you know that its about time you had a stress relief! When it comes to ultimate relaxation there are several vital things i require number one being a bubblebath.

Having a bath gives me time to relax, chill out and just unwind from the stresses of the day, having bubbles in my bath is a necessity for me as it not only makes the bath a little more fun to be in but it also acts as a cover leaving myself with some dignity and reassurance that I'm not fully exposed.

One of my favourite bath time essentials is the Imperial Leather muscle soak i find that this is key to helping me relax and get into a place of zen, i find that this takes away all the tensions and strain that my body has built up so I'm in that ultimate relaxation state. As you can see the bottle is half  empty so i can assure you that this really is a must have! Not only does it it make the weariness of your day float away but as you can see in the picture above that the product is blue thus making my heavenly hot bath a lovely royal blue which makes my bath that bit more exiting.
As i said earlier a hot bath isn't complete without bubbles and to make the lush foam mountains in my bath i use the Coconut and Honey bath cream i love this not only for the bubbles it makes but for the scent too i find that its not too sweet which i love but its the perfect blend for a full relaxation. Im not the biggest fan of a coconut scent however i love this because the honey enhances the coconut to form a scent i love. Now i could go on and on about the scent all day and bore you all to tears however I'm going to tell you another benefit about this luxurious product, unfortunately my photo taking skills aren't brilliant so you can't see in the photo that this bath cream was actually bought at the Co-Operative (a grocery store) therefore i can assure you that this was not at all expensive meaning i can have a lovely relaxed bath knowing that i didn't spend a massive amount of money on it.
Now to complete my stress relief evening i love to snuggle up into my bed where its all warm and cosy and watch one of my favourite films Elf which i know is the complete wrong season and time of year to be watching however its a jolly film that makes me giggle so i feel its the perfect recipe for my ultimate de stressing, alongside this i of course have to have one of my favourite dinners of macaroni and cheese!

I hope you have all enjoyed reading! love Amy xxx

Rimmel lasting perfection concealer review

Hello, everyone today I'm going to be giving you all a review!

Im going to be reviewing my current favourite concealer which is the Rimmel lasting finish concealer. Its a high coverage concealer which makes it great for hiding dark circles and spots. Now this retails at £5.49 (very specific) in Boots which would be around $8.59 by my calculations so is definitely an affordable product.

So this concealer comes in a small rounded tub meaning its easy to fit into a handbag or school bag so is perfect for travelling round with. As for my rating of the packaging id give it a 6/10 as it doesn't exactly give off a classy look but how can i complain when its a drug store product at a low price, as for combustion i have dropped it many many times and it still hasn't broken.

So the picture above is of the product when its opened,  i hope you can see that in the photo (its not exactly clear so i do apologise) but i have hit pan in the middle! whilst this portrays how much i have loved and used this product it also shows how you don't actually get a huge amount of product in each tub however this has lasted me over the past month and I'm not even half way through.

In this photo you can see how pigmented the concealer is which is why i love it so much as it gives a really good coverage for those dark under eye circles and pesky pimples that i get. I have the lightest shade as i am extremely pale like a snowball so this works for both my under eyes and spots! unfortunately the colour range is a let down as they only offer 3 different colour shades so you are limited in that factor unfortunately.
Now this is a photo of a before and after, on the left you have me bare faced and facially naked on the internet :0 and as you can see i have a real problem with darkness around my eye which I'm most certainly not confident about and you can also see there where i have had a spot on my nose and it has left a mark. On the right (with a lighting change) i have applied the concealer and you can now no longer see the red mark on my nose or the blue/ purple mark around my eye area so i would give this a high rating and would recommend that you buy this if your looking for a high coverage concealer. However a con to this product is that it doesn't stay on my face all day it tends to go a bit patchy or slid off but not a lot, i therefore put a lot of powder on to keep it in place and my skin isn't oily so for me that is a major let down!

Overall i would give this product a 7/10 as i really do find that it covers any imperfections that i have but the fact that i keep having to re apply this throughout the day if i want continuous coverage is a major let down.

I really hope you enjoyed reading this! love Amy xx
